Kate V M Sylvester works primarily with re-cycled t-shirts.  Each tee is meticulously unwoven or de-threaded by hand to reveal the masses of fabric used in each garment. The intricate web of warp & weft reveals the true quality of the fabric, creating a new maliuabl textile that transcends fashion as utalitarian function into the realm of conceptual art.
